Determining Motivation
Who determines motivation?
I believe that when a manager tries to motivate staff, they are essentially saying, "How do I get them to do what I want them to do?" There is no question as to an individual being able to motivate others. In order for that to happen this particular individual must be internally motivated themselves.
The true essence of motivation is when one depends on ones self to motive within!
Once doing this we can them look to see how our behavior and response is affecting other individuals motivation.
